Hey, I put my new shoes on, and suddenly ev'rything's right!

Keen Venice H2 Red: My new shoes.Featuring an open strapping system and streamlined outsole, the Venice H2 allows great ventilation and a light ride while providing exceptional traction on mixed terrain.
Upper: Webbing, Poly Propolean Webbing
Weight: 13.4oz / 379 grams
Lining: Hydrophobic Mesh
Rubber: Carbon Non Marking
- Metatomical low durometer EVA molded footbed
- Compression molded EVA Midsole
- Patented toe protection
- Multi direction lug pattern with razor siping
- Washable polyester webbing upper with Aegis microbe shield
Also, the manufacturers add vanilla extract to the rubber when it is being made, so I take them off and my feet smell vaguely of vanilla.
Yesterday morning, I wore them for the first time to take out the garbage. While wheeling the garbage can full of broken concrete and dead branches, one of the wheels slipped the shoe off my heel and took some skin with it. So after wearing the sandals for only five minutes, they already have my blood on them. Not sure why, but it was a good feeling!

Vanilla! Why don't they do that in all shoes? I doubt even Batman has a pair of those in the ol' utility belt.

Sandals usually don't, but these look cute. May they bring you many memorable miles.

Ooo. Keens. I've been wanting a pair for a while now. Mine won't be as cute, though. ;)
